Cornerstone
Brethren Church and Ministries
Muncie, Indiana
The Cornerstone church
was new and small, but with big dreams and a lot of faith. Akers
Church Building Services had helped a neighboring church, from
which many of the founding members of Cornerstone came, with a
Ministry Facility Analysis. So, when the time came to build their
first building, they came to us. Because of the congregation's
small size and limited resources, the new facility had to be
designed very carefully, to make the best use of space and
resources, but still maintain a high level of quality.
A multi-purpose room,
designed first as a worship space but usable for other activities,
seemed the best solution for the first phase.
