Grace Baptist Church
Racine, Wisconsin
At first glance, the home of Grace
Baptist Church looks more like a Performing Arts Center than a
traditional church. Though that may seem unusual to some, the
design is in complete harmony with Grace Church's vision
of being a totally "Seeker Sensitive" congregation.
Initially, the new Worship Center seats about 1,800 (1,000 on the
floor, and 800 in the balcony) with the capability of expansion to
2,100. In addition to the Worship Center, the First Phase building
houses a Multi-purpose Fellowship Commons that also serves as a
small gymnasium and Fellowship Hall, plus full facilities for the
congregation's extensive children's ministries.
The site has been Master Planned by Akers
CBS for later addition of a full gymnasium and additional space
for Christian Education.
