Phase I - Study
Akers Ministry Facility Analysis
|
The Analysis is a feasibility study--and more--designed to give churches reliable, useful information and guidance. In it we:
|
-
Obtain and evaluate demographic information for your community.
-
Estimate your congregation's growth potential.
-
Calculate the amount of space needed to reach your potential.
-
Carefully evaluate your current building to see how much of the needed space it provides.
- Determine the ministry potential or
limitation of your site.
-
Determine the existing facility's limitations and/or
capabilities for various ministries.
-
Develop a priority list, to show your greatest space need.
-
Analyze the congregation's financial capabilities and determine a recommended debt limit.
|
The result is a notebook full of information, including:
|
-
Demographic information for your use in establishing community ministry needs.
-
Charts and graphs of your growth history and potential.
-
Evaluation of multiple services if indicated.
- Recommendations as to building size (if building is recommended)
for your ministry growth potential and master plan.
- Recommended project budget.
-
Schematic Master Plan drawings.
-
Drawings of possible solutions to your immediate space needs.
-
Cost estimates (for Master Plan and any suggested phases).
-
Advantages and disadvantages of each solution, with financial feasibility.
-
Recommendation and evaluation of relocation, if such a step is indicated.
Our Best Professional Advice As To The Congregation's Next Step
|
Who Would Benefit From a Ministry Facility Analysis? |
-
If congregational growth seems to "top out" at a given level, then drop off, only to do it again, and again.
-
If you know you need to build, but you're not sure what you should build first.
-
If you think it might be advantageous to relocate, but are not sure, and/or you have no idea what it would cost.
-
If you know you should build, but do not know what you can afford.
-
If you need professional outside
advice to help unify the congregation.
Then you should consider the Ministry Facility Analysis for your congregation.
